Finding The Best Heater For the Job
A Parker Boiler industrial thermal liquid heater has helped pave the way to a new and improved veneer process for Thomasville Furniture. The uniquely designed Parker Heater was installed at a Thomasville manufacturing facility in 1993. The application involved heating oil which would be used to heat the upper and lower platens of a veneer press. Since the veneer process involves high temperatures, the Thomasville engineering staff soon ruled out steam from an existing steam plant as a means to heat the veneer press. Start-u time would be too long and it was questionable whether steam could provide the high temperatures necessary to the platens.Read More – Click Here to Download
