The Southern California Cleaners Association (SCCA) shifted their usual evening agenda of a dinner/meeting at various locations. For this final meeting of the year a good old fashioned fieldtrip was planned to visit and tour one of the oldest and most successful companies in the industry, Parker Boiler in Los Angeles, California. The SCCA members were given tours of the 3 1/2 acre facility, but to assure they had proper energy to do so were firsttreated to gourmet burgers and other specialties from one of LAs famous food trucks, Haute Burger. Quite interesting, with a menu of very different items includ-ing Jackie Smiths favorite, the Brussell Sprout frites!
